WWE House Show Results

Anchorage, Alaska
by AlaskaCowboy, rajah.com reader

Well, I Have to say that of all the “Live” shows I have been to, this one takes the cake. Coming off the over seas tour (which the RAW and SmackDown! shows have been taped for the week before Valentine’s Day) they held a cross promotional show for us frozen folks here in Anchorage and let me say that it was far better than AWESOME!!!!

Let me start the day by saying that I spent all of last week making posters. It was fun.

Next was the cross promotional tag team match between Heidenriech/Snitsky and Taker/Kane. Totally Cool watching both Taker and Kane enter to their norm. Funny though, Snitsky was waiting for John to get to the ring, John came up and said “my friend Gene”. They got their Boos. Too hilarious!!! Kane then 'Taker came in to the BIGGEST Pops of the night!

This match impress me also because each time one of them was thrown into the corner, the ring shook and you could feel it. It was an unusual match. Taker went for Old School after a minute, but was yanked off the turnbuckle. He eventually hit it along with all of his normal moves (the flying clothesline), and at the end of the match the heels had both the Bros slammed on the ground then turned their backs on them. Simultaneously, the Bros did their sit ups. Way cool! 'Taker and Kane beat up some more on them then hit choke slams and finally tombstone pile drivers for the win. I think they even double pinned them. Kane and 'Taker then did the brotherly hug and then Kane did the little kneel toward 'Taker as he was standing in the corner. Kane left and 'Taker did his kneel with the lights dimming to purple and blue. I love 'Taker’s lighting. He then left and stopped, like he always does. He did the look over the shoulder and turned back to raise him arm. I wish I had been closer for that shot, but I fired off a picture anyway. BIG BIG Pops.

WWE RAW/SmackDown! House Show Report
February 2, 2005 SUPERSHOW
Honolulu, Hawaii at Blaisdell Arena
by Daryl Bonilla & Jay Shimoda

The Blaisdell Arena was sold out with only a few seats in the upper deck empty. It was a 3 and a half hour show that featured SmackDown! and Raw stars. (9) Kane & The Undertaker defeated Gene Snitsky & John Heidenreich. Heidenreich and Snitsky hugged each other when they first entered the ring, and then cowered in each other's arms as Kane and UT were introduced. Kane as over but the place went crazy for The Undertaker. The biggest, loudest, longest pop of the night went to the DeadMan. Hawaii loves the DeadMan. He hasn't been here in quite a while and the audience ate his theatrics up. The Brothers of Destruction won when they hit the double tombstone after they double chokeslammed Snitsky and Heidenreich.

WWE Raw House Show
February 13, 2005
Toledo, Ohio
by James Davis

Pretty good Raw house show last night at the Toledo Sports Arena. I'd say the place was about 3/4 full. I got there right as the first match was starting. The house PA system sucked, so it was hard to hear Fink and company.

6) Kane beat Gene Snitsky in a hardcore match. Good pop for Kane; people booed Snitsky all night. These two went at each other with all the subtlety and grace of mating warthogs. They hit and kicked each other, then brought a bunch of stuff out from under the ring and hit each other with that. Snitsky ate most of the items. Kane got him with some nasty-sounding cookie sheet hits - The highlight was Snitsky laying face up under the ropes so his head was sticking out of the ring. Kane teased clocking Snitsky with a frying pan, then placed a trash can over his head and whacked that with the pan instead. Kane got the win after chokeslamming Gene onto a fresh garbage can. Following the match, Kane broke character and did a lot more celebrating than one would expect the emotionally scarred monster to do. Maybe he loves the Toledo Sports Arena as much as I do.

WWE Raw House Show
Cadillac, MI 2-18-2005
by B_Jenkins-BWE, rajah.com reader

The WWE returned to Cadillac after a year long absence and to say the least everyone was very excited about this event. "The Wex" seats about 2500 people and there was not a empty seat in the house. Some people didn't even have seats, even though i was surprised at seeing the WWE come to a small venue that seats 2500 people but it was still a experience.

6th match Kane vs. Gene Snitsky: A lot of stalling and baby killer chants as it looked like to bulls in the ring. Kane wins a long fought battle with the choke slam.

(5) Kane defeated Gene Snitsky. This match was originally scheduled to be a No DQ match but it wasn't. I wish it was because the only way Snitsky could be interesting is with weapons. Snitsky attacked Kane from behind on his way to the ring. He hit some punches and then put Kane in a really long rest hold. Kane got out, went to the top rope for a clothesline, and then hit the chokeslam for the win.

The arena was small but mostly filled. I'd say there were at least 4,000, and the crowd was pretty hot. The showed lasted 3 hours and 15 minutes.

WWE ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA
Event: Raw House Show

Live from Wings Stadium, Kalamazoo, Michigan
Feb. 20th, 2005

The 7th match was one of solid matches of the night. Kane and Snitsky fought for the 47th time in the last 4 months and tonight it must have been Kane’s turn to win. Kane won with a chokeslam. Snitsky has come a long way and looked comfortable in the ring performing well.

RAW REPORT
FEBRUARY 21, 2005
by Wade Keller & Mallory Mahling, ProWrestling Torch

Raw was live tonight from the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler introduced the show. Ross hyped it as one of the bigger shows in a while.

3 -- KANE vs. TYSON TOMKO

Tomko came out with a microphone, whining about all the fuss being made over Batista. He said he was a problem solver and Kane was his new problem. Kane was controlling the match until Tomko scored early with a big boot to the face. Kane resumed control and came back to hit a top rope clothesline which he followed up with a gut-buster. Tomko moved out of Kane's path on a shoulder-charge in the corner. Kane, though, ducked another Tomko boot and even with a sore shoulder, Kane won the match with a one-handed chokeslam. Problem solved. Ross said "it wasn't easy, but it was a victory for the Big Red Machine."

WINNER: Kane

6) Kane beat Gene Snitsky at 8:05. Christy Hemme was the guest announcer. Snitsky comes out first, got booed, and walks toward Christy. Kane's music hits to a huge huge huge pop. They brawled outside in the beginning of the match. Crowd was totally behind Kane. Kane did all of his signature moves. There was a ref bump at the end, Snitsky got a chair, put it around Kane's neck, and went to the top rope, but Kane sat up and threw Snitsky off the top rope. Highlight spot during the match was kane performed a drop kick. Everyone in the arena was so shocked and gave him a standing o. Kane won clean with the chokeslam. Kane celebrated after, but there was no pyro for him.

(7) Kane defeated Gene Snitsky in a hardcore match. It was a good match. Christy Hemme did special ring announcing. They used mostly garbage cans and lids and a hockey stick (Snitsky held up the stick, I was expecting for him to grab the mic and say "Hockey Season is canceled and that isn't my fault either" but he didn't.) Fun match.

WWE Raw House Show
February 27, 2005
Boston, Mass. at Agganis Arena
by BostonWrestling.com

Estimated Crowd: 2,500. This was the WWE's debut show in the new Agganis Arena on the campus of Boston University. Normally they're at the FleetCenter, but I guess they just wanna look at other options when coming to Boston.

5) Trish Stratus defeated Victoria and Molly Holly to retain the Women's Title. WWE brought out the entire women's roster for this one. Trish rolled up Victoria for the win after she gave Molly the widow's peak. After the match Trish attacked Victoria, but Christy Hemme came down to trip up Trish as she was near the ropes. As Trish got up, Victoria got her revenge with something I cannot remember. The music hit and out came SNITSKY! Snitsky was attempting to get at Christy Hemme, but Kane out of no where attacked Snitsky leading to….

(6) Kane defeated Gene Snitsky in a Hardcore Match. Trash cans, trash can lids, the ring bell, and a hockey stick were used. One spot had Snitsky's upper half laying outside on the ring apron. Kane put a trash can on him and then smashed it with the ring bell. Back in the ring, Kane hits Snitsky with the flying clothesline. Snitsky grabs a trash can lid while Kane grabs him by the throat for the chokeslam. Snitsky smashes Kane with the lid until he goes down. Kane sits up. Snitsky smashes him again on the head. Kane sits up again. Snitsky smashes him again. A few moments later, Kane regains his feet and there was a horrible miscue as Snitsky rushed Kane with a hockey stick and nailed him in the face, but Kane at the same time used a kick which incapacitated Snitsky. Kane goes outside for a trash can, puts it down and chokeslams Snitsky onto it. Kane makes the cover and gets the victory.

Winner: Kane

WWE ROYAL PPV REPORT
JANUARY 30, 2005
FRESNO, CALIF.

-A highlight montage aired of past Royal Rumbles. Then the West Coast commercial aired.

-Michael Cole and Tazz, the Spanish announcers, and Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler all introduced the PPV. Ross hyped that the Road to WrestleMania begins tonight.

-Backstage Gene Snitsky walked in on Heidenreich warming up. Snitsky told Heidenreich he hears he doesn't like caskets. He said he doesn't like them, either, and he has an idea. They each shared a moment and deep breathing. Another scene out of HBO's "Oz."

-Cole and Tazz wondered what was up between those two. Then they plugged the casket match.

2 -- UNDERTAKER vs. HEIDENREICH

Fifteen minutes after the previous match completed, after 'Taker's spectacular ring intro, the second match began. 'Taker controlled the match seemingly effortlessly until Snitsky intervened. Cole asked what a Raw wrestler was doing messing with SmackDown! business. Snitsky and Heidenreich double teamed 'Taker a bit before they began to drag 'Taker toward the casket - the refs opened the casket - Kane popped out and made the save. Kane fought Snitsky through the crowd as 'Taker went on to win this match.

The Royal
---(27) Kane came out and began chokeslamming everyone including Cena, Jericho, and even Mysterio. London was shown being helped onto a stretcher. Kane tossed Jindrak at 42:05 (***ELIMINATION #19***). Snitsky went after Kane, giving him a pump handle slam.

---(28) Batista came out to a huge pop. Batista quickly eliminated Snitsky at 43:10 (***ELIMINATION #20***). Batista and Kane then battled. The crowd chanted "Ba-ti-sta." Batista gave Kane his sit-down powerbomb. Jericho dove into Batista's arms. Batista lifted and dropped him over the top rope at 43:50 (***ELIMINATION #21***). Batista then went after Edge in the corner.

---(29) Christian (w/Tyson Tomko). Rey gave Kane a 619 and then Cena eliminated Kane at 45:13 (***ELIMINATION #22***). Cena and Rey had a discussion about working together. They went over to Coach and stomped on him in the corner.

"The fans ringside never sat down for the entire match. Awesome experience. The spots in the match were absolutely fantastic. There was no reason to sit down at any point in the match because of the fun interaction from start to bottom. Great close." by James Caldwell

by Sung Min Soo

About 11,000 crowd watched WWE event in Jamsil Indoor Stadium which can hold 15,000 people. I think it was somewhat due to New Year's Day in South Korea. (Koreans count lunar New Year's Day. So a lot of families go to rural part in this season.) A lot of U.S. Soldiers also came to see Superstars.

(5) Kane beat Gene Snitsky in no DQ match. Kane got huge ovation. This is his second visit to South Korea. At the beginning of this match, they fought like a normal match. Snitsky tried to use chair and Kane used Stick. Kane won.

Raw roster was at the Oil Palace in Tyler Texas. There was a crowd of what I estimate to be about 6000 people.

Out comes Snitsky to massive heat. The Kane comes out to a very large Pop. This was a good match with both of them appearing bandaged and banged up from Monday's Raw episode. There were lots of Kane cheers throughout the match. In the end Kane connects with the choke-slam for a 3 count.

4) Hardcore Rules Match: Kane defeated Gene Snitski. On paper, this was just suppose to be a regular match up, but it's obvious WWE has realized, if your going to have 2 monsters battle it out, and you want to see more moves than the big boot and a big hand chop, so set them into a Hardcore match. Didn't spill in to the crowd, but the match did use trash can, chair, and a hockey stick. Overall, one of the better matches of the night.

(6) Kane pinned Gene Snitsky and Batista. Snitsky comes out first, ribs taped. Batista comes out next to a pretty good pop and Snitsky starts the offensive even before Kane's music hits. When Kane comes out it can be noticed that he has stitches in his head.

Batista was forced out of the ring and spent most of the match outside...very little offense from Big Dave. Kane chokeslams Snitsky for the win while Batista is ringside. Batista enters the ring mad about the loss and Batista Bombs Kane for good measure.

The building was pretty much packed. There was a crowd of what I estimate to be about 6000 people. Not a lot of seats were left empty. We had REALLY good seats, so I got to see all of the action too!

Kane & Gene Snitzky were next. Out comes Snitsky to massive heat. The Kane comes out to a very large Pop. This was a good match with both of them appearing bandaged and banged up from Monday's Raw episode. Kane got in the ring and knocked Snitzky down & went straight for the weapons under the ring-trash can & lids and a stick. Kane was definitely the favorite in the match - there were lots of Kane cheers throughout the match. In the end Kane connects with the chokeslam on Snitzky for the three count and the win.

WWE NEW YEAR'S REVOLUTION PPV REPORT
JANUARY 9, 2005
SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO
by Wade Keller

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler introduced the show. Then they went to the Spanish announce team who got their intro face time. They went into a video package of the Kane-Lita-Gene Snitsky feud.

GENE SNITSKY vs. KANE

Coach joined Ross on commentary. Kane back dropped Snitsky at ringside at 2:45. Back in the ring Kane went to the top rope. Snitsky caught him with an extended boot to the face and then went on sustained offense. Snitsky applied a bear hug which took the wind out of the crowd. Kane fought out of it and teased a comeback. He sat up. The crowd popped for that. Snitsky kicked Kane to the mat. Kane sat up. They did that sequence two more times. Snitsky then dragged Kane to ringside and whipped him into the stairs. Snitsky then ran at Kane with a chair, but Kane kicked Snitsky in the chest first. Kane threw Snitsky into the ring. Kane hit a sidewalk slam, a big boot, and a clothesline off the second rope. The crowd popped as Kane showed nice fire. Snitsky kneed Kane to slow him down and then gave him the worst hot-shot in the history of wrestling, a perfect fit for the rest of this horrendous PPV. Ross said, "This may not be Kane's night." Perhaps it's not WWE's night. Certainly not WWE fans' night so far. They both went for chokeslams. Kane then hit Kane's ear. Ross said, "That man's a cannibal." Kane then gave Snitsky a Tombstone for the win.

WINNER: Kane

(6) Kane pins Gene Snitsky in a hardcore match. Snitsky cut a promo here where if memory serves me correctly targeted the Timberwolves. Kane came out to a big pop actually and they brawl on the floor immediately. Kane goes under the ring and throws trash cans and lids and a cane into the ring. Kane gives Snitsky a DDT onto a metal lid. Kane puts a trash can over Snitsky's head and hits the trash can with the cane. Snitsky comes back and hits Kane with a hockey stick. Kane goes for a chokeslam, but Snitsky hits Kane with a trash can lid. Kane gets a hold of a weightlifters belt and whips Snitsky with it. Kane then gets a chokeslam and pins Snitsky. Kane played to the crowd with a big smile on his face following the match as his 1998 red lighting shined down. Kept short and to the point, and the weapons kept the crowd into it. Much better than the PPV match.

walked slowly out! Nice surprise and a huge pop for the Big Red Monster. Kane and Snitsky beat

(4) Lita pinned Trish Stratus. Quick but solid bout, billed as a "diva match". Lita won after

her signature DDT. This prompted Gene Snitsky to hit the ring to a chorus of boos from the

crowd. Snitsky had just cornered Lita when the Big Red Machine Kane came charging out. Snitsky

and Kane traded blows in and out of the ring, and back up the ramp to behind the curtain (much

Been looking for a good way to keep track of KANE's matches through out the year - thought I'd try blogging it . . .

Postings will be weekly - most likely the Sunday following the week's events. I believe Kane's Keeper posts RAW events on Tuesday, and most of the smark boards post the House and PPV events as they get them.

If any one reading cares to contribute their experience after watching KANE in action at a WWE RAW Brand Show, please feel free to add it! Just please do NOT use the lame and dried out terms "typical match for . . ." or "what you'd expect from . . .". I detest these cop out expressions - would prefer to read what happened and draw my own conclusions. :D
